This winter, we have experienced God’s work in the lives of many soldiers and their families. God is at work in the midst of war. We experienced the power of prayer and God’s intervention in many lives. We have seen God provide and take care of practical needs and we have witnessed His hand do what is impossible for man.
As we approach this summer season, God has impressed in my heart the need to be present for more extended periods of time near the soldiers and chaplains in the front lines. My usual trips to the front are very intense and fast, as I try to meet as many people as possible. Those meetings, even though deeply meaningful, are often short.
My desire is to stay and spend more time with the soldiers and chaplains that I serve to better invest in their lives and support them. Therefore, staring mid-June through August, I will be taking several longer, 2-week trips to the frontlines.
This is my main ministry project for this summer, and as a family we see God guiding us. This will require raising some specific funds in order to cover the travel costs, living expenses, and ministry materials to bring to those I serve.
