The Atlas GAP Year Program will provide Bible and Spanish classes and hands-on ministry experience. It is for high school graduates ages 17-22.

Approximate Cost: USD $15,500 plus airfare.
Through the Atlas program, graduates can earn up to a full year of college credit. Lancaster Bible College students receive up to 33 credits and a scholarship at no extra cost. For other partner schools like Liberty or Moody, students can earn 24 transferable credits for a fee of $3,600.
The Atlas Travel and Study Abroad Gap Year will give each student an opportunity to grow closer to God, learning how to study and live out the Word of God. Students will be surrounded by others pursuing the same goal and living in a great faith community. Students will learn Spanish taught by Costarican teachers in very interactive classes. They also will be in ministry settings where they can practice what they are learning in class and get to serve those around them. Bible classes taught by qualified professors from the United States. These classes are informational as well as conversational, teaching how to study the Word of God, and how to live it out.
A look at a typical week: Tuesday through Friday will be Spanish and Bible classes. Saturday is spent serving with a local ministry. Saturday night they stay with a host family, and Sunday they attend a local church connected to the same ministry. Monday is a free day for students to rest. Mixed within the week are outings, discipleship, small groups, and a whole lot of fun!
Students will experience some excursions throughout their time to fully engage and experience the great country of Costa Rica!
